Kaleidoscope with a black chamber. Made of brass, silver colour.
This particular instrument creates shapes and images with a “moonlit” effect on a black background. A selection of couloured transparent and opalescent beads (some are individually lamp worked) catches the light shining through the sides of the transparent chamber. Hidden in the brass tube there is a system of three optical mirrors with an inclination of 60°. A fine and elegant instrument, a different and amazing kaleidoscope.
